I did a logo for our SYF, it is supposed to be a logo for girls home.
First, I did some research on the net. Most of the juvenile detention centers have this balance beam on it. I figured it is supposed to represent law and justice, so I included this element in my design.
Version 1
Most of the logos I found have circular shapes. So this is what I did for the first design.(above)
I talked to my drama coach and he said that it would be better if it is triangular. (below)
